It was an amazing day at Squaw Valley as we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Cushing Crossing event. The sun was shining and the snow was perfect as the competitors took to the water to show off their skills. The energy was high and the crowd was cheering as each athlete made their way across the chilly waters of Cushing Pond.

One of the highlights of the day was the supreme backcountry style of Jeremy Jones, who won the competition with his impressive ice pick skills. Jones, who is known for his backcountry riding and freeride skiing, truly impressed the crowd with his technical prowess and fearless attitude.

The event brought together some of the best skiers and riders in the industry, including local favorites and up-and-coming athletes. The competition was fierce, but the atmosphere was friendly and supportive. Each athlete pushed themselves to the limit, and the crowd was on the edge of their seats, cheering them on every step of the way.

The Cushing Crossing is a truly unique event, and it was a privilege to be a part of the 25th anniversary celebration. We can't wait to see what next year's competition will bring and we hope that you will join us too!
