Just got back from the #Omniten #Omnigames with Columbia Sportswear! A quick note about where I've been and a preview of the posts to come! My Omnigames partner: Heidi Kumm: http://runaroundaroo.com
Columbia Sportswear invited all four seasons of #Omniten athletes to go head-to-head in an extreme competition called the #Omnigames. We arrived on a powder day in Park City UT, starting our trip off in style. We were debriefed by Columbia and set out in teams of two only knowing we were to be prepared and geared up for an intense outdoor excursion. This was much more than a test of physical endurance, we competed in winter survival skills, mountaineering, avalanche skills, outdoor knowledge, dogsledding, skiing, archery, snow shelter building, snowmobiling, and even an 80 foot black diamond winter ropes course. We got to reunite with beloved omni friends, as well as make new and amazing omni family. It was an adventure of epic proportions to say the least.
As if being a part of this amazing experience wasn't enough, Columbia Sportswear is taking the top five teams on an epic ten day adventure of gear testing and #TryingStuff! There's only one competition left... and as always we are in it to win it with Heidi Kumm http://runaroundaroo.com

We attended the preview of the US Ski Team #Olympic uniforms designed by Columbia Sportswear for USA, Canada, and Russia. Meeting the athletes on their road to #Sochi was such an honor. Their passion is beyond inspiring. Testing new and groundbreaking technology for our industry, as well as getting to speak with the Columbia designers was such an inspiration and honor.
