#Omnigames Day Two

The second day of the #Omnigames was an adventure like no other. We were taken to a set of treetop ropes courses with multiple events, and the second challenge of the day was called the "Vertical Ski Challenge."

#Treetop Ropes Course Challenge

As the late day winds picked up and the storm began to clear a little bit, my partner and I knew we were in for a serious adventure. The conditions were cold, but not wet, so the first event, the ropes course, was ours for the taking. I made it to the third feature of the course before it became really challenging.

The treetop ropes course at Deer Park Utah Ski Resort was one of the most challenging and exhilarating events of the #Omnigames. Held in the middle of winter, participants had to navigate through a series of obstacles suspended high in the air, all while wearing ski clothes and gear.

As we geared up in our warm Columbia Sportswear jackets and pants, we couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. The course was set up in a snowy forest, with multiple levels of difficulty and obstacles such as zip lines, suspended bridges, and ropes to climb.

The course was designed to test our balance, strength, and endurance as we navigated through the challenging terrain. The snow and wind added an extra level of difficulty, as we had to battle the elements while trying to complete the course. The course was not just physical, it was also a mental challenge as we had to navigate through the obstacles, strategizing which ropes and platforms to use, and when.

Despite the challenges, the experience was truly unforgettable. The breathtaking views from the top of the course and the feeling of accomplishment upon finishing made all the effort worth it. The treetop ropes course at Deer Park Utah Ski Resort was definitely one of the highlights of the #Omnigames and a true test of our outdoor skills and endurance.

Vertical Ski Challenge

The Vertical Ski Challenge at Deer Creek was one of the most exciting events of the #Omnigames. Participants were paired in teams of two and had to complete as many laps as possible on a designated ski course within a certain time frame. The team with the most laps at the end of the challenge would be declared the winner.

As we geared up in our warm Columbia Sportswear jackets and pants, the adrenaline was pumping. The ski course was set up on a steep hillside, with multiple obstacles and challenges to navigate through. The course was designed to test not only our skiing abilities but also our endurance and teamwork.

My partner and I decided to take on a strategy of alternating laps, so one of us could rest while the other skied. This strategy proved to be effective, as we were able to complete more laps than we expected. The course was measured by laps, and we were determined to come out on top.

The competition was fierce, and the other teams were no pushovers. The late-day winds picked up, adding an extra level of difficulty to the already challenging course. The snow was falling hard, but it didn't dampen our spirits. We skied as fast as we could, taking turns on the course, and cheering each other on.

In the end, our team ended up coming in second place, but we were proud of what we accomplished. The Vertical Ski Challenge at Deer Creek was an unforgettable experience, and a true test of our skiing abilities, endurance and teamwork.

The #Omnigames were an event of a lifetime and an incomparable epic adventure. I swell with gratitude and pride as I look back on these beautiful memories that shape who we are. A special thank you to David Creech and Erika Wiggins for their photo contribution to this unforgettable experience.
